Sustainability & Program Leadership
Denise Lin
I lead clean-infrastructure programs in the public sector, owning budgets and cost performance across complex, cross-functional work, and bringing electrification projects from planning to delivery.
About
I have eight years of experience owning budgets and cost performance across complex, cross-functional programs in regulated environments. Today I lead electrification and infrastructure work for the City of Mountain View, where I forecast and plan for funding needs proactively, putting the City on track to increase its fleet EV charger installations sevenfold by 2029.
Earlier, as a Sustainability Specialist for San Mateo County, I led a working group of 20 municipalities, giving teams access to performance-tracking tools and leading regional initiatives such as policies and grant applications, and coordinating across regulatory, facilities, and operations teams to deliver 60 EV charging stations.
What I work on
- Electrification & infrastructure Capital improvement planning and fleet charging deployments, delivered on schedule and under budget.
- Budget & cost ownership Forecasting funding needs, tracking spend against plan, and securing rebates and grants to stretch public dollars.
- Cross-functional programs Aligning engineering, facilities, and operations teams (and regional partners) around shared sustainability goals.
